Bronze Needle Valve Stopcock 1/4 MPT x Drain

Needle valves are used to adjust flow in small increments for metering and sampling and other applications which require fine flow control. Needle valves are ideal for instrumentation and laboratory applications. The flow is controlled by lowering and raising the needle shaped plunger which fits into a seat. It takes several turns of the fine threaded screw to seal the valve making regulation of the flow rate possible down to a few drops per minute.
