Coalescing and Particulate Filters
Available in models with connection sizes ranging from 1/8” to 3″ and flow capacities of 6 SCFM (10 Nm³/hr) to 1,500 SCFM (2,2550 Nm³/hr), Walker Filtration offers an extended range of Coalescing & Particulate Filters to suit almost every application.
Alpha Filters are used for the continuous removal of liquid and particulate contaminants, which cannot be achieved with conventional filter systems. There are four grades of filter elements available, from fine to coarse.
Water Separators
Walker Filtration offers a range of Compressed Air Water Separators with proven centrifugal technology and a forward-thinking housing design that delivers market leading water removal efficiencies.
Walker Filtration Compressed Air Water Separators are available in a broad range of models with connection sizes ranging from 1/8" to 12" NPT, Rp (BSP Parallel), and Rc (BSP Taper). Walker Filtration Water Separators have a maximum operating temperature of 248 ˚F (120˚C), an operating pressure of up to 300 psig (20.7 barg), and flow capacities up to 6 SCFM (10 Nm°/hr) up to 16,100 SCFM (27,354 Nm³/hr).
Used to remove bulk liquid following the compression of air, installing a Water Separator reduces the risk of contamination to production equipment, product spoilage, and costly shutdowns caused by damage of high levels of moisture and condensate in the system.
Desiccant Dryers
The Walker Filtration range of heatless desiccant compressed air dryers deliver uncompromising performance and highly efficient supply of dry, clean air to the point of application.
The range of lower flow PROSFD models provide a proven solution for compressed air drying and are ideal for smaller point of use applications. This proven range utilizes the latest in drying technology and all models are supplied as standard with an XA grade 0.01 micron coalescing filter, an integrated X1 grade 1 micron dust filter, and a float drain. Benefits include reduced purge rate, compact design, and energy and condensate management features, making for an energy efficient dryer with reduced operating costs.
The new large flow PROSFD range, now known as PRODRY, includes performance enhancing features, improved serviceability, and increased dryer efficiency. Larger flow models incorporate new and enhanced features that deliver significant advantages over the competition in terms of performance and reliability. All models carry an IP protection rating of IP65.
Oil-Water Separators
Good for the environment and often required by law.
The Walker Filtration SmartSep Oil-Water Separator is expertly engineered for condensate processing, maintaining an oil trace as low as 5 ppm.
The industry-leading device design fits the various flows and climates of compressed air production systems. The SmartSep features a comprehensive range of oil-water separators with flow rates from 32 SCFM (54 Nm³/hr) to 6,621 SCFM (11,250 Nm³/hr). The advanced technology used in the SmartSep provides premium filtration to protect the environment and ensures clean condensate that is safe for disposal.
The SmartSep utilizes polypropylene bags and Organoclay filters, ensuring a 4,000-hour performance interval and reduced external maintenance. Complete with the SmartService Overflow Indicators that clearly signal the need for filter changes and emulsion regulation, our oil-water separators deliver exceptional filtration with minimal oil trace or system damage.
